Which is better? With shedding you don't have to find a shearer willing to come for a small flock. But their is hair everywhere, especially on the fences.
And the sheep look like they have some kind of strange mutant disease until it is all done. But then they remain sleek and cool throughout the summer.
The woolies on the other hand....
Require the shearer to come out. And since I only have a few it needs to be when he is in the area doing another job. And when it is not raining, and when I am home..
And there are heaps of dirty wool to stuff into garbage bags and dispose of.
But instant sleek. Nice and cool, lets hope there is not another cold snap!
